well if your paying 6 grand for 2 cdjs and a mixer and then have to pay another 2 grand for a laptop that runs the stems, its not really stems on the cdj

Ignoring the fact that the title of this short is misleading, which is somewhat true, that would mean Serato somewhat brought stems to Pioneer hardware before Pioneer did it them self. That's somewhat embarrassing for Pioneer. Even if the stems are running on the laptop.

This is misleading, stems are supported in the software running on the laptop not on the stand alone device. CDJs are a very expensive and poor Serato controller compared with a FLX10 or Rane 4.

After I did a update I lost that function on the Cdj 3000

Ive seen local producers in my area now using this feature to rip parts of other peoples song and mash them together to create their own but its obviously got samples from songs i recognize so for me cant be fooled
