This guy is full of it. Where is the criticism for Egypt putting up a border fence and manning that fence with their military? Gaza is being run by Hamas and NO IDF forces were in Gaza prior to Oct 7. Open air prison is bull and propaganda. I've seen advertisements for tourism for Gaza just last year and it looked great. Was that Israeli propaganda?

This idea of an open-air prison is ridiculous. All Israel did was allow the Gazans to have some of their land. They didn't have to. They could have pushed them all into the sea, and it would have been justified. Instead, they pulled out every single Israeli and let them have their own de facto state.
It wasn't a prison. It was a state. How does Israel enforcing their borders make Gaza a prison? Gazans could leave Gaza at any time. They just couldn't go into Israel.
The Israelis weren't stopping them from going into Egypt. They weren't stopping them from emigrating elsewhere. How is it a prison? In fact, Israel went above and beyond by supplying them with water and electricity for free. They even left them a thriving horticulture industry when they left. It wasn't the Israelis who destroyed it in a fit of pique.
There should not be any Palestinians at all in Israel. They are a self-declared enemy of Israel. Why should Israel be forced to host and care for their enemies? What an absurd notion.
