This year didn't tend to me garden. But got plenty of blackberry just became more wild gardening. Nature selects the best spots over the years. F e. 12 years ago i scattered some P. Somniferum/poppy's and now they pop up everywhere in neighbourse gardens too! ( most people that don't use the pods for medicinal reasons do let them stand when weeding. Some plants have that effect on people.
Also when you don"t have time or reason to garden frequently, one can make it more attractive for insects esp. They are disappearing in Europe totally . 60 to 80 !! % biomass of total insect population are gone ! Birds strughle to feed their jong. Make an insect friendly garden. Leaf stuff lying. Woodblocks, branches ,leaves. Insecthotels are easy to make.
Eour planet is undet stress. Every bit helps!

Berry picking is truly my favorite time. I feel like a part of the insect invasion working in this factory, good exercise though but all the waste especially of plastic wrap is hard to be a part of lol

Your berries look sweet and not sprayed with god knows what, ide be going nuts growing shit if I was Hawaii or foraging, jealous of all the different kinds of banana they have, even purple bananas ...be a good snack after a storm. All I care about is lobster mushroom, I'm excited, I still find no morels. False ones. So the Indian ghost pipe is what causes the mutation create a lobster so weird

How do you get away with em in the ground, every time I've grown em from seed I've failed. From roots only had success in hanging baskets lined with cocoliner and have soil under the liner to absorb an extra but I have to tease strawberries to keep em alive

Figs are ready down here in Georgia, and the muscadines are starting to mature. Nothing beats hiking through the foothills of Appalachia in late summer, and picking muscadines along the way. Life is good.
