This is how to grow yellow summer squash vertically upwards .
Growing squash vertically will save so much space , better air flow , less chance of disease , a more healthier plant and also faster production in less time ..

prune off 4 lower leaves , use a wooden stake about 6 to 8 feet long and use twine and soft twist tie to hold the plant ..

Tie the plant every 6 inches as the plant grow ..

I had 2 big zucchini plants that had male and female flowers, but the females stayed closed and eventually rotted 😢. I’m in south Florida so idk if it was too hot

I also have struggled with the same this summer.. I've had both male and female flowers, but in some cases, the females never opened to be pollinated, and I'm not sure why.. Any ideas??
