Would I book this ticket for a work trip and tell accounting it was the only option available when they questioned the cost? Yes.

I really want to say that it’s worth it because that seat and experience is top notch. $600 for a 45 minute flight translates to $800 an hour for something you can’t fully enjoy since there’s not enough time to sleep. Therefore, it’s not worth it.

This is probably most suitable for a multi-segment itinerary, where every segment is in business class.

In Australia a business class ticket for the Melbourne to Canberra flight which is 55min normally costs on Qantas over $800 and you don't get the nice seat!

as a Malaysian i wl say nay ... fr me its nt cheap and we usually spent money wisely.....lets assume frm reaching airport 3 hours bfr the boarding in between have to clear check in process, immigration, security and waiting fr boarding time , i rather tk a bus and wld reached Singapore in 5-6 hours with the nice view of the city...if super urgent i wl travel in economy...SQ provides good services fr economy as well...

I just took a 40 minute flight from Mendoza to Santiago. It was 125 bucks. I wouldn’t pay more. I got a bottle of water and a bag of potato chips in the airport and was very happy

For a 45 minute flight I'd sit in the jump seat if they let me because I'm cheap.
