For gaming, the 7800X3D is better in almost all cases than the 7950X3D. We saw this coming especially after HU disabled 8 cores of the 7950X3D and ran synthetic 7800X3D results, with it always vastly outperforming the 7950X3D handily in gaming.

I wish that if they're going to make an X3D CPU, that they'd make all the cores 3D cores rather than just half of them. At least that way you'd have an actual reason to buy them instead of the regular ones which utilize all cores.

Anyone who has this CPU it is a beast but be careful with it, there has been cases of it literally melting the cpu and motherboard because of over-voltage from the motherboard. Tye over voltage only comes from specific Asus and Gigabyte Motherboards but I would still be careful.
