you really need to enlighten yourself brother...
all the best method actors of the world are authentic & extremely natural in the execution of there performances...
naturality has nothing to do with method or no method...
by the way Denzel has also at times prepared for his roles & on the other hand Daniel Lewis has always been natural and organic in his given roles..
let me put some light on this ..there are actors who would totally try to become the character and there are actors who adapt character in there own personality like Denzel
naturality and realistic acting is the way you execute your performance...
and method or no method is the way you prepare for your performances..
in this reel both the actors are natural and real in the given emotional psychological premises of the character

I LOVE Denzel and I believe he's one of the finest actors out there, but Daniel Day Lewis is one of the greatest film actors in history. He's up there with Gary Oldman and Anthony Hopkins. I would say Denzel Washington is on the tier of Robert Deniro, Al Pacino, Edward Norton and that's no slouch. I may dislike Deniro for acting like a little btch, but he's a damn good actor.
