Very pretty tabletops. The exposed rebar leg ends freak me out a bit though.

I don't like the rebar legs. That takes a pretty tabletop and makes it look industrial, second hand and not in a good way. But the tabletop itself is fine.

Awesome. This series is so perfect for the channel. There have been so many homes Iā€™ve looked at in NTS videos and been irritated by unsustainable design choices when I associated small living so much with that. But this really fits perfectly. I just wish we would see perhaps you being more selective in terms of how sustainably designed the homes are before theyā€™re featured in videos. So things like wood burning stoves and excess plastic use.

Iā€™m not fully understanding the idea here. Emission value and value of the object seems to be very different scales. Unless making them into furniture would meet some of the existing demands for concrete, I donā€™t understand how it might be beneficial other than being aesthetically pleasing. Maybe what they meant was that furnitures also produces high emissions so they are cutting emissions in that industry?

We have to move away from concrete as a building material. In this video, waste is made into more waste, concrete is not recyclable

That rebar is an accident waiting to happen. It'd be much better (and prettier IMO!) if made out of wood. Something to consider. :)
