I have a physics issue with FD. I accidentally had a clogged bottom to a T-outlet on my OSSF where the water was falling into the top of the T, when I unclogged it the water did not push 100 GPM with that 4 inches of head-water pushing down on the water to flow up into the bottom of the T-outlet of the OSSF-tank. I think there could be an experiment where you can test exactly how much head-water (water-height) is needed to pass x GPMs of water through each different type of cloth. In that particular setup they ought to remove all of that dirt & install sharp-sand (a washed sand that works like beach-sand).
