Oddly enough, this tutorial boss made me rage quit and uninstall the game after 80+ deaths. The next day I reinstalled it. Finally beat the tutorial that same day and now I'm finally at New Game++. It's been a wild ride.

It took me 30 attempts to kill this thing never having played an AC game before and i was questioning if i was losing my mind. Once i killed it i realized i had lost my mind because i then attempted to no hit kill it. I accomplished this, but at what cost? 140 attempts...
This game is for the truly skilled. Balteus showed me that real quick.

This boss was a fun time for me. As someone who last played an Armored Core game a decade ago, I found it fun when I was defeated, finding out that I needed to improve, adjust and learn to maneuver to beat the boss. I failed 3 times but finally clicked in my head the way to avoid most of it's damage, and finally defeating it felt great. Felt great defeating it after failing. And it set the tone for me going into the game. I have failed multiple missions making me evaluate my approach to sittuations and assess my setup, making changes if I felt it was needed.
My brother showed me a thread that people were complaining that Balteus was too strong and I was excited for that boss fight (I struggled with the AC before the Balteus fight).
Ready to get pumbled but managed to beat Balteus on my first try and began to question "what were they doing to struggle so much? what did they learn during the first chapter to prepare themselves for that fight?"
I enjoy this game, it feels difficult but fair.

Balteus made me question if i even COULD play the rest of the game, even after I had to give a huge resource dump to get the juggernaut down. And same with the next boss, and the next. I have since figured out where i can keep certain parts longer, and where i can quickly swap.
