The 2023 Gems in the Rough winner, Jordan Smart, returns with another powerfully crafted piece of hard-hitting songwriting, “Who Would Jesus Bomb?” - this particular one has been gaining viral traction online for all the right reasons! 💎📼

Anthony went to Southgate House Revival in Newport, KY, to meet with Jordan for this field recording. Jordan lives in the area and the church-turned-music venue, with its religious motifs in stained glass and old hardwood floors, felt like the perfect spot in town for this special tune.

We love passionate songs here at Gems - this one is incredibly moving, it’s brave, and it makes me want to change the world somehow or start a big conversation. That’s what folk music is all about. Great work Jordan, thanks again for taking the time to record.
