This is a very nice project, but I have to caution against doing resin projects in your kitchen! If anything spills, your counter is ruined. Pour resin in well ventilated areas and no matter where youโre doing your project put something under your work surface to protect it.

I don't work with resin much as I much prefer to keep my flowers pressed into clear glass displays (less messy and I like to switch them around) but something I have learned from working with resin and flowers is that the flowers have to be 100% dry (like almost dry to the point they could turn to dust lol) because the flowers will continue to decomp and in a couple months/years (depending on the size and flower) they will ooze fluid/turn yellow/brown/black and it will not be pretty. Please, if anyone decides to try this, it's a lovely idea. Just make sure to dry the flowers first or even take them to get pressed/preserved so you can make your board without worry.
