As someone with a LOT of experience working with kids, and a background in developmental psych... Annoying, sh*tty kids are always annoying and sh*tty because their parents made them that way. It's never the kids.... It's always the adults. Same vibe as "no bad dogs; only bad owners".

Artificial food colorings are definitely a problem with ADHD symptoms. It doesn't cause ADHD but it can exasperate the problem. Studies by reputable groups ( have shown an increased symptoms of ADHD in children who have been diagnosed with ADHD. The side effects of AFCs on children look to be around the same levels as subclinical lead poisoning (when correcting for social factors... Which the studies that found the effects of lead poisoning in children caused by leaded gas brought along the total ban of leaded fuels in the US and abroad. Their annoying-ass kids are definitely annoying because they are annoying but AFCs aren't helping their annoying-asses.
