My first stroke (out of 4 so far) was cerebellar and the ER neurologist never picked up on it despite a CT scan having been made in the ER. He called it "a disorder of the equilibrium organ", kept me in bed for a week on Litican (anti-nausea because the extreme dizziness made me vomit continuously - you feel like you're spinning in a tumble dryer) and sent me home.
Fortunately he sent me to a routine MRI check-up 6 weeks afterwards and that's where the stroke damage was discovered.

I had a cerebellar stroke at 42. The 7 month delay in getting a proper diagnosis was very stressful.

I have all these symptoms with my MCA stroke, except for speech, which is fine. I’m dizzy all day every day.❤tfs

M having stroke almost 11 months before I went through physiotherapy nw I almost quit n always exercise n yoga I think m very fast in stroke m just 44 due to high diabetic it's sucks left side effect trying to get up god bless to my all patients those who suffer from stroke be strong n never give up it takes time

😭 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! IT'S WHERE MINE HAPPENED AND I'VE HEARD FROM A DOCTOR AS WELL AS THERAPISTS THAT I MAY NOT HAVE A CHANCE AT RECOVERING MORE. BUT I'M 6 YEARS POST AND KICKING BUTT! I PUT WORK IN DAILY AND STILL GET FIRED UP FOR MY WORKOUTS AND LEARNING NEW THINGS😁 IT'S A STRUGGLE WITH LEFT SIDE PERIPHERAL BLINDNESS IN BOTH EYES AND ANXIETY MOMENTS AT TIMES IT'S WORTH IT!!
