Incredients:
Two cups of besan
One cup curd
Half teaspoon Garam Masala
Half teaspoon turmeric powder
Half teaspoon sabji masala
Half teaspoon ajwain
Half teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon kasuri methi
Two spoon of refined oil
Salt as per taste
Half cup curd
Half cup warm water
Chopped coriander
Method of Cooking:
Mix all the spices in besan, add in curd, oil and give it a nice mix.
Gradually add water in the mixture to make a soft dough. Evenly make few portions of the dough and bring it to a boil with salt and water.
Once it is nicely boiled, take them out and let these cool completely. Cut them into pieces and saute in a pan with two teaspoon oil until it turns golden in colour.
Finally for the gravy,
Add four teaspoon mustard oil, then add garlic, hing and dry red chilli, afterthat add in onion green chilli and let it turn golden, then add in the tomatoes with lill bit of salt.
Once the tomatoes are nicely cooked, add in the curd masala with all the spices mentioned above. Then give it a nice stir, once the masala releases oil add in two cups of hot water, let it come to a boil. Then add in all the fried gattas and cover the lid until it soaks the water and masala. Once the water is half reduced, add one teaspoon ghee, kasuri methi and chopped coriander.
