Angeles Crest 100 Miles Ultra Marathon - one of the hardest and oldest ultra marathon in the US. In this ultra running documentary, I bring you along as I race and complete this challenging 100 miles ultra marathon.

Angeles Crest 100 Miles, only 2 weeks after racing Tahoe Rim Trail 100 miles. This race is quite challenging, with about 19k feet of gain (and 24k of loss). The heat during the day can be absolutely brutal, and with only 33 hours cutoff, you have to run fast!
The course is a point-to-point 100 miles ultra marathon. A mix of single and double track trail running, along with some roads (but mostly, this is trail running). There are a few runnable segments, and a few big climbs. Basically, you have it all!
What's more, I'm racing this one Solo! Yup, Nora is around, but she needs to rest ahead of a big drive to Colorado for Leadville 100 miles. So I race this ultra marathon solo. Although this isn't favorable, I often run ultra marathon solo. It's just so much nicer to have Leia ... sorry Nora...around!
Next race is Leadville 100 miles on August 17! Then we head out to Europe for some vacation - trail running Tour du Mont-Blanc, and then racing Tor des Geants! Stay tuned!
