I'm surprised nobody's turned it into a sword yet

It was in a glacier that was moved by water and eventually settled in it’s current location. The water receded, the glacier melted, and there it is.

Maybe thats the result of a planetary level impact that churned it up from our core. Maybe when the moon bounced off us, but im just theorizing, just thinking out loud.

No impact crater? And they think it's still a meteorite? Yeah, I think some college degrees need to be looked at more closely. 🤦

That's where I put it. I've been looking for this lil bugger.

Wondering if maybe in the far past it hit a large body of water or maybe as stated below a glacier, both scenarios wouldn’t leave a visible impact crater……….or ask an AI machine, which will then send you a random text saying hello at random hours of the night from an area code you have no friends or family in

It floated down with a massive parachute

It was brought there by glaciers, that's why there is no impact crater

Maybe it hit the OTHER side of the planet and created an ocean-sized crater before popping out the other side in Namibia! 😂

It's actually quite small for a meteorite

Only a yank would call that an accident.

Maybe the impact crater is bigger than the archeologists presumed

It came in real shallow and did n t hit head on. It bounced for miles and stopped

Maybe it happened a very long time ago that the terrain changed. The crater dont even exist anymore

A 60 ton piece of iron slamming into the planet with no impact crater ?
That means it was placed/carried there.
Only thing powerful enough that could put it there was a frkn glacier during one of the ice ages

So if it didn't leave an impact crater, it was already there, ya morons!
