Good question. I'm not worried about it since my Kratky's produce veg. The roots have a bit of funky smell to them when I pull the plants. Still not worried.

Wow the algae! The algae is so happy to share nutrients 😂 but there are so many creators sharing ways to prevent algae from growing and it's great now to not overthink the process and just GROW it
