Getting a twin sized bed will actually save you money he would grow out of the small toddler bed fast. This way he can grow with it. And you'll be able to cuddle in bed with him

I wasn’t going to say anything, but since you did Lily, I’ll comment. I’m so glad you FINALLY upgraded my social media nephews bed. Child had poor Deacon looking like Buddy, from Elf, in his bed at the North Pole. Whew Chile my god today. I’m praying for y’all Lilly.

Suggestion!! Buy two plastic mattress protectors and two plain fitted sheets per sheet set. So when you have a sick child or when toilet training, you remove one set when he wakes you in the middle of the night and you then don't have to change a whole set of sheets when you are half asleep. All you have to do is remove the first wet set, and then you can wash everything in the morning when you are Less tired.

Waterproof mattress cover, then fitted sheet, then another waterproof cover, then another fitted sheet. That way when he leaks through a diaper or has an accident, you dont have to change your full sheet set in the middle of the night.
Also you need to add a potassium and a magnesium to your routine. Itll help your crampy legs.

When he gets older you can wrap lights around the head and footboard which will be so fun, if you want :) my parents did that for me when I was little
