Rule no. 1 of beating scammers:
If you ever get a call that informs you of [a thing] (eg. fraud, suspicious activity) on your account – anything: bank, bills, business – just hang up.
Always conduct and initiate phone calls from numbers you know are true ... many banks have call functionality direct in the app. Also, it's possible for scammers to spoof the caller ID, so it's always best to assume it's not legit on incoming calls.
If it's legit you'll be back with a rep within minutes.
