My grandpa fell just from sitting and it was enough to cause a massive bleed inside his head.
The problem with aging is that we often lose our brain volumes and when the brain gets smaller but the blood vessels surrounding the brain are still tethered to the inside of the skull, it doesn't take a lot of force to shear those blood vessels.
Waiting for symptoms may be fatal, especially when they lose consciousness or have changes in their pupils.
