Agreed, this happened in my household in childhood and it will happen again here, when we have our fruitful blessing soon, hopefully.
I don't think that it's necessarily a fault only of parents and guardians though. There is also not much to expect of college aged folks these days, period. Not great prospects. There's not much to expect of the job market. We're talking about class mobilization at this point, and that's going to take not just one generation to do. They need support now too, as they leave the household. If they can safely. My brother is no slacker. But he CANT afford rent.

at first i thought it was another old person screaming about how life was harder when he was a kid and how people raise their kids now is immature and they should hit their children as they were hit, but no. it’s someone who has more of a grip on life and society than my parents, if this man was to teach my parents, i would be proud for them

I think people go extremes when it comes to parenting. Some are too soft, some are too hard. Both produces fragile children. It's about balance and moderation of responsibilities. I grew up in a high controlling home, where our mother put so much expectations on us that we don't have good childhood. She expected us to be mature at such a young age, and children have a limited understanding so what they we align ourselves to what our parents wants, thus not being able to create our sense of identity because parents expect us to blindly obey them and when things doesn't go in their way they're blame us, their children for not being able to stand on our own and that's why we struggle to "want to build a family" because our experience shows us it's a lot of stress and frustrations of unmet needs and wants. So I hope there will be videos about how to parent children in a balance way, because parents tend to do extremes measures, too few or too many rules & expectations which create either entitled, insensitive young adults or depressed, detached young adults.
