My cousin hated carrots. Would always throw tantrums when told to eat them.
He once was in my parents house helping with some work.
My mom made lovely grilled chicken, some baked potatoes, some grilled carrots (marinated before) and some tomatoe and bell pepper also grilled.
He said he does not eat carrots. My mom just replied "My kids don't eat carrots too, thats banana root. Eat it." And then he ate the carrots.
After that he didn't really refuse carrots again. Unless they were just plain steamed or boiled.
