I have caught them in Michigan. They are listed as an invasive fish if memory serves me right. I haven't been in Michigan for 25 years.

In Chinese is called a 挂挂鱼 and in translation it’s called a Gua gua fish and it makes like a pig sound kind of like a pig fish you would catch and a saltwater bay.
