This is our version of the Gukesh vs Magnus game. Obviously we’re talking about the same type of flour in both cases e.g. for white flour Indian breads range from maida-roti, parotta (in south India), naan, luchi (bengal), kurkure rotis etc. and Italian dried pasta with semolina flour come in many shapes and sizes which are well-known. We didn’t see such a comparison being done for rotis, so that’s a new perspective for us too. If you liked the video please like, share and subscribe ❤

Roti with little bit oil= paratha
Roti in too much oil= puri
Big roti in too much oil= bhatura
Roti inside tandoor= Naan
Roti with butter inside tandor=butter naan
Thin big roti on big hot pan= Rumali roti
So on
So on

If you change flour type then more type of roti.
So keep your fact check.
This video hurt my roti's sentiment😢

That table has seen things. Ravioli rage. Roti revenge. It’s now fluent in both Italian curses and Indian drama.😂😂

Nope .. with every roti , ingredients change..! It could be the flour ragi , rice, jowar, wheat, corn meal , etc etc or the condiments, or the stuffings …
So ingredients are different ❤! Preparation style is also different!!

Actually rotis can be made of Maida, Ragi, Sooji, Makki, Besan, Atta and many other ingredients.
But the question is fair for Pasta since the original dough seems to be usually the same and just shaped into different pastas.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I also had that question until I tried cooking with different types of pasta shapes. They actually takes different time and different temperature to cook. In Italian dishes, temperature is a crucial factor. So to go with the dish 's optimum serving temp, a perticular type of pasta is necessary. But yeah people can experiment different types of pastas in different temperatures also if they don't care about aldente

Coming to think of it this way, it does make sense, there are similarities indeed. Bharwa parathas can be compared to filled pasta like Ravioli, both have different kinds of fillings but essentially a dough with fillings.

Well different types of roties are not made out of same ingredients. The ingredients vary like jwar ki roti, bajre ki roti makke ki roti, missi roti, rice flour roti etc. And sometimes the techniques differ like tawa roti is made out of wheat generally but the same wheat dough is used to make tandoori roti.
