The Sony sounds intriguing but I'd take such a bath if I moved from all my Canon gear. Could use both but I like it simpler. What I'd love to see are more tips and techniques on how to shoot and edit better. But I'd watch reviews of what you do and don't like in gear.

Unless the A1 can be used held up to your eye, the 30 fps means nothing. The mechanical shutter is still only 10 fps. The electronic speed is with condensed raw files. So much for 50 mp.
