The only reason any man cares about his height is because women on the internet consistently make a big deal about it. Personally I'm 6'2" and have never had to worry about it, but I have homies that aren't tall and do. For those guys wearing these heels is no different than a woman wearing a push up bra to make her boobs look bigger. "There's no way a girl who's 5'5" can tell the difference between 5'9" and 6ft." ..... I've been saying that for years, especially in the context of eyewitnesses to a crime. If the witness isn't much over 5ft I wouldn't give any credibility to their height estimates of the robber/ attacker being over 5'8" or 5'10"; at 5'10" and over they're just "tall". And I say that from my perspective, being 6'5" - I can tell you if somone is 6'6" or 6'2", but any one under 5'8" is just "short".

It seems that with women insisting that a man be 6' foot plus because she wants him to still be taller than her when she's in 6" heels, it is only a matter of time that men also inflate their height artificially.
Set stupid requirements for dating and at least some men will attempt to meet them using stupid methods.
