As far as an overclocking motherboard, it does absolutely great when it runs, which isn’t very long and a lot of people that I’ve talked to had the same board had issues as well.
I’ve owned more motherboards than I can count and more EVGA products than I can count as well and this is the first time I’ve ever been disappointed with anything that they’ve made. I’ve had quite a bit of issues with it since I bought it a few months ago. I’ve just been putting up with it ever since because it does perform really well when it runs but now that isn’t even happening for just 12 minutes at a time before it crashes. And before you blame it on a skill issue trust me I’m well experienced with diagnosing issues and troubleshooting and I’ve thrown every part at it available to try at my disposal as well as running everything at default settings completely change anything at all Music By Karl Casey

i have this board had the issue with vmd in the beginning im on bios 1.13 i think right now and do not get that errors anymore about parts being changed and so on iv been running the board for awhile now only thing now though is i do get a stutter everynow any then but cant figure out what that is like if im watching youtube but playing a game i dont experience it for some reason

I have a evga z690 dark also. First thing is this is an overclocking board. The default settings are not what you want to run out of the box. If you’re using a 12 series cpu bios 1.15 is the go to 13 series is the most I would use with the latest bios version. Evga said they would make a bios for 14 series but have not and I am still waiting. If you’re new to overclocking scatterbencher, lumi and buildzoid are good sources.
