Achives velocity in 10" barrel. Factory weight buffer if its gassed right. Tromix. Only option. Numerous styles of projectiles. Up to 650 grain now. Supersonic and subsonics each have tailored offerings. To answer your question I would want limited capacity and recoil because: I live near glacier park and have grizzly bears where i go. I think 10 rounds with a fast reload of 500 grainers should be plenty. I usually carry an 870 pump 3" mag slugs in heavy bear country and carry a 480 ruger when i dont plan on a meeting. I like the bullet choices of the 458 and have plans for subsonic suppressed.
If you were using a bolt gun i think you could load up a bunch more than the ar bolt can handle.
I want a mars armory left handed bolt pistol down the road.
