Bewegungskrieg was not dependent on being a smaller force, it is a dependence on maneuver warfare to force a penetration of an enemy's static line to allow follow up attack through the initial opening. It was a long-standing Prussian/ German tactic which aimed to destroy the enemy's will to fight and create disarray and confusion. It was NOT dependent upon greater or lesser force size. Once again Dr. Roy uses a name/situation inaccurately to reinforce his argument. With the rise of tanks and aircraft, the Germans used the same tactic, The Allies called it Blitzkrieg, Germans called it Bewegungskrieg. It's like Dr. Roy learns a new term and uses it any way he wants to impress his listeners.

This was also a tactic used by General Lee in the American Civil War with great success.

When us Turks faced Crusader armies from Europe or Christian armies who dared to oppose us in open field. Most of them tried to route oıt army with their cavalary charges to at least have chance against our superior more crowded army. As a Turk can't blame them for their tactics. It was their only chance.

This is what most governments, together with the judiciary and the police, do to the majority of citizens, to easily rob them.
