I can tell in a second. If going bad. Helpful info. Most people don't have 4 decades, in the food business. I can tell, if temperature compromised. Even if frozen. Or cooked and frozen. Thawing them out. A tell. For either. Watch dates as well. You can go to the producer, about lot dates, if no date on the bag. Some producers lot dates, not easily discernable. As printed. That is a watch for any frozen seafood. If there is no use by date, be careful. That is the food business. For any product. I have things that have a shelf life of 20 days. To 2 years or more. Constantly on my radar. My job? Watching it constantly. Sometimes, companies will send cheese, nearly out of date. Refuse shipments. Inspect everything you buy. Especially in a grocery store. Milk and eggs for sure. Producers, will try to pass off anything. Protect yourself, before purchasing. Not always clearly marked. How do I know? My knowledge, of the food business.

I eat frozen large/xl cooked and peeled shrimp 3 to 4 days a week. Yea its not 10/10 -ign but it serves a purpose and really isnt that bad. Plus i get a pound for 5-8 bucks.
