"What was I doing again? Oh eff it... I'll just restart."
Proceeds to reach the same point in the game and stop, only to come back to it months later
Rinse and repeat. 😂

Good thing about single player games is that you can enjoy the OST without being distracted by online voice chat. 😅😌🙏🎧

A bit relatable, but in an opposite way — I can barely remember what was it all about until a savefile is loaded 😅

This is why I love it when games allow you to access some version of a tutorial at any point, I almost never personally use it, but god does it feel good to know others have the option.

Also applicable to a game you actually finished but then has DLC come out months later and you have no idea how the controls work anymore XD Looking at you, Dragon Age.

Lol. In my experience, I never restart, but it takes me ages to finish. In many cases I do, except in the rare instances where I give up on a game entirely. For instance, between my first and second playthrough of Nier Replicant, I took a five month hiatus or something like that, but I did eventually return with the conviction that I HAD to finish that game in particular. RDR2 was another game I couldn't leave unfinished either. If it's a game/story I don't care much about, then I'm okay not finishing. But if it grips me, you can be darn sure I'll be back... eventually.

I have this with literally 99% of games I always play. Wait a day? Already forgot half of whats important. Wait a month? No memories at all. Especially bad when the game has no "welcome back" tutorial to refresh your skills or no waypoints that aren't really vague. Thankfully I actually managed to finish "The Outer Worlds" recently, after being already like 60% through. Finished it in like two days of a couple of hours of playing. Not fully happy with how it ended and all, but the game itself was pretty solid, 7.5/10

Thats me with literally marvel spiderman, god of war, and even nier automata. I basically just deleted the save files and restarted from the beginning

currently:
finished nier automata first cycle (route a,b,c)
- planning on second cycle for route d,e and 100% getting all trophies. And using my save file to save others....

- THEN replay whole game again and try to 100% in less hours compared to the first two cycles. And go on Hard Mode, compared to Normal (which is probsbly a bad idea but i love the game and fully invested in it now. My only concerns is to be able to beat emil in one cycle, but i doubt it because my level wont be high enough. So I plan on route b, 9s, farm xp using bunny. Then fight emil on second cycle

Okay so true story - this is Borderlands 2 with my friends. With a few of them we quite literally tried and stopped at best at half-point more than ~12 times now.
