Growing up in the US with The Nanny, Joan Rivers, etc. there was a part of me that thought antisemitism (beyond micro aggressions) was a thing of the past. I was shocked as a college student to meet people who said things like ābut the Jews killed Jesusā and even then I thought it was ignorance more than hate. Itās a huge stab in the back to have groups like the Black community, that we marched with so long, turn on us. Antisemitism used to feel like, if it still existed, something from the right, from the white nationalists and KKK extremists, not something from the liberal, inclusive left. Thatās been painful.
