Japanese people in general don’t eat super spicy food but some folks can handle spice levels I can’t even imagine. You gotta ask if it’s “Japanese spicy” or “spicy spicy” because there is a difference

I am not Japanese but I love ramen. I also have a love for spicy food. I have recently combined the two because I was able to find a flavor of spicy ramen sold by the brand I enjoy. I like to add gochujang now because I learned in a video to add that. And I say all that to thank you for showing the mess that happens and that they give a bib. I also have to slurp and take in air similar to what you did here. Otherwise the skin on your lips /burn/. But if you like the spicy you do what you gotta do. I will try a bib next time 😂
