I make this all the time. Perfect way to get rid of Gojoujang, and it makes me feel like I’m actually a chef 😂 dead easy but it’s so good. I highly recommend people give it a go - it’s 2x more flavorful than plain ramen

I LOVE budae jjigae. It sounds disgusting (Spam???) but when they all come together it’s pure alchemy. Try it at a Korean restaurant if you haven’t already.

I feel sad that we feed people these things nowhere (?) near their culture like that’s acceptable but it’s not just war situations we do it ROUTINELY to old people in nursing homes. We do it in hospitals. Here in Chicago the food pantries (of all things) are rife with fraud. Food is a basic way to comfort people daily in an understated kind of natural unpressured way. It’s important.

It's No1 making the best of WAR - left- behinds...No 2 making Left- behinds from the enemy into a Korean dish!!! No3 who ever commented negativly: you have no idea,WHAT people HAD TO EAT/ WOULD EAT/ CRAVED TO EAT during war!! ...Dog food(of our standands today!) would have been the dream- food..in WW2 in Germany, for excample...😢
