At 20 years of age, Lino Dainese visited London aboard his Vespa and was instantly inspired by a group of ‘ton-up bikes’ being ridden by riders in the first leather suits.
His passion was ignited and the Dainese story began.
I was recently asked to photograph a concept created by the team and my friends, at Dainese London where ‘Biker Girl’ stereotypes have been reversed. Instead of the typical image of a female rider as a pillion, Dainese London and I, wanted to quash gender stereotypes, create a stir, and celebrate women bikers, at a location just a stone’s throw from the London, Shoreditch store.
Be Inspired.
