I just went to a neurologist. She tried to put me on gabapentin and Cymbalta. My pcp already took me off those, and it was hellish. I gave her a grim look and declined on the grounds that depression doesn't make a pinched nerve.

Much agape spiritual sisterly love to you for your knowledge and compassion. I am healing one day at a time. Quitting all alcohol and street drugs almost five years ago, walking, trying to meditate daily, pets, friends, doing art, listening to classical music especially flute šŖ is healing me. Growing and blossoming as a person and feeling better. No meds anymore since over 10 years

In my case the neighbours landlord has a delightful way of being wealthy enough to engage in hiring people to stalk.
I find his minions depressing
But mostly i find obsessed neighbours a bit psycho

The results are a more sluggish human being. Tranquillizers don't give you energy, they cause more problems with side effects. Something in their lives are wearing them down, they need help but I don't know how the doctors think tranquillizers help???

I've lost count of the number of people I have talked to over the years, who were first dismissed as "depressed" before any doctor would even order the tests...that then revealed autoimmune and/or hormonal disorders. It's so negligent.
