Any opportunity I have to witness lightning, I'll be chasing it down. The closer you are, the experience of lightning drastically changes. I have been so close to lightning that I felt the high pitch crack rumble in my chest (can't say I want to experience that too often, haha). If you are in the right place, lightning has two sounds, the crackle, and the long rumble of thunder.
Why do we call these storms, thunderstorms? Why not lightning storms? ; )
