Sarkar ka poora Bullet train project hi waste of money hai. More than half of the population still travels in general and sleeper class in India. Vande Bharat runs empty, if people can't afford vande Bharat then How they are going to travel in Bullet train. 90% of the Existing High speed rail lines around the world are making net loss.
Railways should have invested 1 lakh crore of the bullet train project on the Reliable Signalling system (kavach) , so we can stop frequent rail accidents. But some top guy in the Railway ministry thought that High speed is more important than the life of people. According to a report published in 2019 Out of 15 high speed (350kmph) rail lines in CHINA only 5 are able to cover all the costs . Most of the high speed rail lines in China are struggling to pay back the principal and interest cost of the project. China with a per capita of $13000 & India with $ 3000.
