I like to think that Broogli is just a wander that has been in the Backrooms for so long that the Backrooms itself just said âfuck it why notâ and started to slowly turn him into an entity over the years. At this point, theyâre comfy with their new life and is cool with just vibing and running around telling people about the Backrooms lore

Just like Broogli said, I think its best for the backrooms to be its own thing. It is a really great concept with amazing lore, but it being an SCP would just make it another SCP-3008. Its also already proven that it can thrive be being its own thing and not needing to be connected to an already popular fandom

In my totally-incorrect version of the backrooms:
1. Backroom Levels donât grow in size, but the bigger levels are created first, and then the other levels spawn in. Also, levels slowly shrink over time.
The Barrier is the exception to this. It actually grows over time, and it grows tremendously whenever people are inside it. This is because the level is not part of the Backrooms, but rather, it is a corrupted shard of reality that is slowly consuming the Frontrooms, which is why the rest of the Backrooms in my version avoids it like the plague.
2. No, not yet.
3. Yes, and no. The Backrooms exist in SCP thanks to pataphysics, but the SCP foundation doesnât exist in Backrooms lore. Any references made between the two, however, are throwaway jokes.
4. No. The Backrooms is a hard piece of unreality that the universe naturally formed in response to attacks from the Void. Its hostility comes from corruption by said Void (because I canât see any other viable source). It acts as an anchor, a buoy, and a shell for the Frontrooms. Itâs not supposed to be interactive, and no-clips are caused by the holes that have rotted away in reality.
5. Youâre way too nice for that. Youâre a âdemigodâ (lesser planewalker) who just knows a lot of things.

What would happen if you reached the end of Level 0? Like, reached one of the corners of the giant ass space. Youâd think it would take a while but this is considering that the Backrooms have a few characteristics of a non-Euclidean world, as you could end up further North when going South. So if you are lucky enough, you could reach the end of Level 1 without leaving the level or dying.

I would say brooglie could be a wanderer (like another vid said I think) that was transformed through the back rooms. Two eyes for depth perception, two eyes four liminal perception, and the eye on top for connecting the two perceptions and given a special site almost like how else from Lord of the rings have their special sight but for backrooms.
I have a few more personal theories when it comes to the backrooms itself but I think it could be connected to a combination of intelligence, dimensional space through some form of technology, but also the dreamscape which is how bizarre geometry and no clipping can be.

My Shower Thought:
Are missing 411 cases linked to the backrooms? 411 cases are when people disappear with no explanation. You see them and briefly look away and they vanish.

My sense is that the Backrooms occupy another dimension that intersects with our universe and others as well. In that way, it transcends the ordinary physical universes that we perceive. It is possible that activity in the back rooms does influence our own realm if there is a parallel, such as the houses you mentioned, between there and our realm. It is likely also that the supernatural, if such exists, does overlap with the back rooms as well in much the same way that they overlap with our universe. Those are just my shower thoughts. Btw, I've never heard the phrase shower thoughts before. Interesting. Regarding Broogli, I see him as a hybrid human and alien. Or, as you posited, he may be a human who got trapped in one of the back rooms with a radioactive effect which caused him to mutate and gain vast brain and other powers. In either case, he would have the ability to easily traverse the backrooms and physical universes as well. I would posit these abilities whether he is a human / alien hybrid or a mutated human, either way. If I had my way, he would be a hybrid as in the first example, experimenting with interdimensional travel as his alien race is wont to do, and with a combination of technological as well as inherent abilities, he gains the ability to traverse all levels of the back rooms and universes as well. But either way, Broogli is a highly powerful and formidable individual. Those are all just my shower thoughts.

Hereâs what I think the answers are to all the questions proposed in the short:
1. I think backrooms start as the size theyâre listed as in the level description and stay the same size unless otherwise noted.
2. Itâs disconnected from the version in real life.
3. No, probably not.
4. Broogli is likely just a wanderer thatâs explored a ton of the backrooms and therefore knows a ton about it.
