gochujang cornbread recipe
āØ INGREDIENTS āØ
-2 tbsp gochujang paste
-2 tbsp butter
-1 can corn drained
-1 can cream of corn
-1 egg
-1/3 cup milk
-1/3 cup water
-2 tbsp agave syrup
-1 box corn bread mix (I used famous Daves corn bread mix)
āØ DIRECTIONS āØ
1.melt gochujang paste and butter over the stove
2.whisk together egg, water, milk
3.add in drained corn, cream of corn, gochujang butter paste, and agave syrup
4.combine corn bread mix
5.pour into baking pan
6.place/ in oven at 400F for 23-26 minutes
7.let cool and enjoy!
last year I was at my lowest weight
And I loved the way I felt, my clothes fit, performed in the gym and looked.
But at our thanksgiving gathering when someone commented that my face looked too thin
and that I needed to gain weight to get a fuller prettier face, it shattered me
However, it took a few minutes of internal dialogue for me to remember that I worked so hard to get here and Iām so happy where Iām at and no opinion should change that or take that away from me
Everyone will have a different view youāre too large, too thin, too loud, too quiet, too nice, too closed off but we have the power to not let those words control us
just like this gochujang corn bread that although not traditional and might get you a lot of differing opinions turned out to be an absolute hit. My past experiences with cornbread have been be dry and unappetizing so this is definitely not that.
The gochujang adds such a subtle kick while the agave syrup adds a nice sweet taste and the mix of corn and cream of corn creates the perfect moist texture making it an amazing side dish at your thanksgiving gathering
