G1 Optimus transformed the exact same way as his toy except for the fact the hands detached on the toy, so accurate. Plus who didn’t half transform an Optimus toy so that his arms and head were out while in vehicle mode

I will say one thing about the new transformers movies. The transformations are amazing. All Optimus needs is his Ion Cannon, and he would be perfect. I love the subtle changes they made, but I wish they kept his ion Cannon. But it could be said it's with his trailer which is not in the movie.
