These are all solid tips. Especially, the water bottles in the freezer. Two-days later, I'm still able to eat not-so-solid ice cream sandwiches (but they're still cold) because I do that pretty much at the beginning of every hurricane season so that way you're not having to throw away food in order to make room. Added bonus is that you have more drinkable, cold water.

Hate to mention but dishwashers arent water proof there's lines that provide water for the dishwasher and a drain line. So if something bad happens to the structure of the house and the dishwasher detaches from those lines its no longer water proof. Ur best option is to create a homemade dry bag. Thick trash bag doubled or tripled up in layers to prevent rips or wholes put all ur important stuff in the bag roll it tightly down from the top leaving the air inside the bag then tie or tape so water won't get in. Yhe air pocket will allow it to float.

Careful with the dishwasher, depending on your plumbing and machine (like cheap crappy apartments use), the sink drain can backflow into the machine. Worth testing before relying on it, I've seen one apartment where if the garbage disposal is full of food, the water from the other side of the sink starts flowing into the dishwasher, food bits and all.
I guess worst case you could just disconnect the drain pipe but ten you have to add a cap and all that to keep the water out of the cabinet...
.
Also add a cup of bleach to the tub water (let sit 24 hours before using), lightly chlorinates it like a pool, at a super low level so as not to poison yourself, but keeps the water clean longer than just letting it sit. Should be drinkable for a week or two, though I assume you'd use it up before then. .
