Is your mac pro really that fast(snappy)?? Mine is not fast on pretty much everything I open and I see the spinning wheel a lot! I have a 2009 5,1 64gigs of ram, 2x 3.33 Xeons with a Sappire RX580 8gb that I just put a fresh install of big sur 11.7.2 running Legacy patcher. I use Studio One 6, this is my backup computer. My main recording setup is a Z390 Designare Hackintosh, but i have to redo the opencore because of a couple issues popping up. If your video of the screen is in real time, something is wrong with mine!! I'll have to goto Martin Lo's package!!!

Did you ever try the Opencore Legacy Patcher? Much easier to set up.
