when you express things nonchalant, you end up giving
power to the prospect to start dictacting and taking
over the conversation

basically everything is in “their time” and their
interviewing you now

i hear you, you don’t want to come across too pushy or
agressive

here are ways to be relatable, gain respect, and still be
conversational without devaluing your credibility.

1️⃣ stop asking open ended questions like “tell me
about yourself…” you’re just wasting everyone’s time
with a vague topic.

get specific, the person’s on the call with you for a
reason… why??

2️⃣ working with you is a partnership. it’s not just about
them feeling good in order to proceed. it’s if both you
and them decide there’s alignment, you’ll then discuss
next steps

3️⃣ you are booked and busy (even if you aren’t), so
always suggest a day and time for meetings first.

this also cuts the back and forth or delayed responses
to coordinate. again time is money and you have
limited availability only for people who are serious and
ready now

remember… you’re the expert in your space and you
know more than the prospect

otherwise they wouldn’t be coming to you in the first
place needing your help

don’t compromise your authority and leverage by trying
to people please

stand on business and be direct…i’m telling you the
prospect will respect that so much mor
