We know that 18*10=180 and 18*5=90.
180+90
Finally, 180+90=270.

I do (18*5)+(18*10), which makes it easier for me to visualize it.

Let's say the most easiest one to do
Let's take 15 as 5 x 3
And take 18 as 9 x 2
Simply by multiplying 5 and 2 we get 10 and then we multiply it with 3 equals 30 and then with 9 equals 270
Just took some few seconds to calc.

I do something somehow similar,i actually calculate 15*20=300 and then -2*15=-30 and it works
