As part of our 'how to make a Longbow' series we take a look at how to make the bow to the correct length. Some people think it's to do with the height of the person, here we show the length of the bow is determined by draw length, the distance measured between bottom of the nock slot at full draw and the back of the bow. We can then calculate the safe length to make an English Longbow.

question. I found a piece of yew not big, but nice to make a small bow. how long does it take to dry the wood and Didi I did wrong to make the handle and the bending piece while it wasn't dry . greetings from Belgium Oli 🤘
