SI OF POLICE & TWO POLICE CONSTABLES OF BANDLAGUDA P.S, HYDERABAD CITY IN ACB NET

On 22.11.2024 at 1920 hrs the AO-1 R. Pavan, Sub Inspector of Police, Bandlaguda Police Station, Hyderabad City was caught by ACB, Hyderabad City Range-2 Unit when he demanded Rs 30,000/- and accepted bribe amount Rs 15,000/- from the complainant through the AO-2 Ch.Ramakrishna, Police Constable, Bandlaguda Police Station, Hyderabad City for showing official favour i.e. "closure of case in Cr.No.116/2024 of Bandlaguda Police Station registered against Complainant. The AO-3 B.Santhosh Police Constable of P.S. Bandlaguda also demanded and accepted Rs 2000/- as bribe from the complainant for helping the complainant in the closure of the case. The Accused Officers thereby performed their public duty improperly and dishonestly.

The bribe amount Rs 15,000/-was recovered from the AO-2 at his instance. Right hand fingers of AO-2 yielded positive in chemical test. The bribe amount Rs 2000/- was recovered from AO-3 at his instance. Right hand fingers of AO-3 yielded positive in chemical test.

The AO-1 R. Pavan, Sub Inspector of Police, AO-2 Ch. Ramakrishna, Police Constable and AO-3 B.Santhosh Police Constable of Bandlaguda Police Station, Hyderabad City are being arrested and produced before the Hon'ble Prl. Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases, Court at Nampally, Hyderabad. The Case is under investigation.
