崎頂隧道總共有兩個，崎頂一號隧道、崎頂二號隧道，由於兩座隧道相隔很近，所以稱為「崎頂子母隧道」，是全國唯一兩座相連的雙軌道隧道。崎頂一號隧道，因為長度比較長所以又為「母隧道」，度為130.78公尺，兩旁茂密的樹陰為伴，清新而又復古。
崎頂海水浴場位於苗栗縣竹南鎮的西北方，火車站後方約500公尺。
