Best motorcycle company in the world is a very academic argument. For me itโs always come down to the company with the best bike(s) for me. For a long while that was BMW with its large capacity,shaft driven,Boxer twins. Thatโs when I had an R80GS and an R100GS. Nothing else came close for mega mile munching in comfort on tar and dirt backroads. Ultra reliable,no chains or sprockets to worry about. I had to sell the bike to get a car to tow a trailer (Russian Lada Niva) . That was also a great farm car that I could shove bales of hay into on the farm to feed cattle. Iโm now riding a CB500F with a top box I use for short trips to beat Melbourneโs traffic,parking problems.

For me, it used to be Peter Stevens motorcycles for parts whenever I needed them, most the time I would fix my own bike
